I saw this painting in one vision I've got while reading Women Who Run with the Wolves book. This Woman in the Forest with a Portal behind Her and an Owl flying beside Her suddenly appeared in front of my eyes and looked at me with Her piercing green eyes. I knew right away that I need to transfer this scene onto a canvas, that She wants to be seen...

She is one very wise woman. She is an Archetype of a Goddess / Priestess (which is a phase of every woman's Lunar Cycle). She lives within every Woman. She is a Wild Woman, the shadow part of us that wants to be seen and heard but instead most of us are ignoring this voice within. She represents the so-called ''PMS'' phase of every woman's cycle. This Pre Menstrual Syndrome actually started to happen at the moment when women started to ignore this woman within, the voice that calls us and begs us to take the time of silence and peace so we can go deep in the dark but protected forest within, so we can meet our shadow side, so we can embrace it, love it and live with acceptance for all of our parts, not just the half of who we really are.

A long time has passed from the beginning sketch until the present moment where I am finally ready to share Her with you because I could paint her only while I was in my Goddess phase of the cycle. I must admit that since I've started painting Her, I do not have PMS. She encouraged me to express my truths and stand strong while the tornado that they caused calms down... She led me deeply, helped me see...the real, and complete me.

I must say, this painting painted Herself and I was just a messenger.

I feel really honored and happy that She choose me to present Her to you. There is a story that comes with Her, but that I will share with you some other day.
