Hi, I’m Oceana Petra,
a multidisciplinary artist, graphic and permacultural designer, photographer, storyteller, yogina, and creator of the World of Arts you see here.

I was born in Zagreb on February 18th, 1992 (under the Full Moon glow, on the last degree of the Sun in Aquarius) and grew up in a small village on the eastern edge of the city, surrounded by Forest and wildflower Meadows.

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve felt most at home in Nature. Forests, meadows, shores, quiet paths, small beings — they were my first friends and teachers. In those places, I would slip into an imaginary world filled with magic, one that still lives in me today. Nature remains my greatest source of inspiration, along with music — melodies that open dreamlike landscapes in my mind and guide me into creation.

Before dedicating myself fully to painting and a life close to the Sea,
I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Technology.
My background shaped my eye for color, composition, and visual balance.
Those skills flow naturally into everything I create today.
Photography also plays an important role in my work, allowing me to capture moments, atmospheres, and quiet details that often inspire my paintings.

Today I’m living my dream Life — creating paintings on a small Adriatic island, where life moves slowly. My days are filled with gardening, petting the cats, creating art, and living in harmony with the rhythms of Nature.

I value simplicity, sustainability, and a way of life that leaves the world softer and cleaner than we found it. By supporting my art, you are also supporting the things I believe in — small local businesses, organic farmers, cruelty-free living, and a permaculture approach to life that honors the Earth and all beings.

I’m a bit shy at first, but once I feel safe, I can talk for hours. That’s why my newsletter and physical letter have become my favorite places to share my stories: there I can open up, tell the stories behind the paintings, and write about the moments that shaped each piece.

My Art is meant to be felt. Many of my collectors say it brings them comfort, joy, clarity, and emotional healing — that it speaks to them in a way words cannot. If you open your heart to it, it will speak to you in its own language — a quiet transmission of color, intuition, and spirit. I see myself as a channel for what wants to be created: a vessel for the flow of Love, Light, and Joy that moves through me and onto the canvas.
